SafeLists Below are 38 High Impact Safelist Marketing Tips. I'm telling you, you will slapped myself on the forehead at the sheer simplicity of these tips. Yet these safelist tips are powerful enough to turbo-charge your safelist marketing efforts and profits almost instantly! So I suggest you take a look right now and then put these amazing tips to work and turbo-charge you safelist marketing efforts. 1. Some Safelists should be avoided. Be aware of safelists with Poor site design. This includes lots of banners and advertisements, tacky animated gifs, dollars signs, etc... Be aware of safelists with not much information about the list, no support link or contact info should always raise a red flag. Also beware of safelists with no affiliate program and no information about the number of list members. 2. Most safelist users only look at safelist ads when they are cleaning out their safelist email boxes. This is one of the "truths" about marketing with safelists. We scan a few ads while deleting ads from our subscribe email list. However, once in a while, a subject line will catch our eye and we will click, read the ad and maybe subscribe to a newsletter, sign up for a free book, or even purchase something! So, there is a only short window of opportunity to have the subject line read. The point is, "MAKE YOUR SUBJECT OF YOUR ad stand out".3. Write your own ads! When you run across the occasional great ad, rewrite it to reflect YOUR product. After all, if it caught your attention enough to read it - don't you think others are reading it too?4. Your safelist advertising, not your product in many cases, will determine the success or failure of your marketing. Your product needs to be good but your advertising has to be awesome because it will make or break your business.5. Not tracking your safelist ads is a no - no! Many safelists have built in tracking tools. Use these tools to track your ads and to experiment with the concept of tracking your ads. You can later upgrade to a PRO tracking system once you understand the concept.6. Don't send the same ad to the same safelist two days in a row. Change either the subject line or the body of the ad that you are posting. Or wait a day or two before you post the exact same ad. Remember to track your ad to see which one gets the most hits.7. Always join the safelist as a free member first and take a test drive. You don't want to upgrade and then regret it. If you are happy with the response you are getting from your ads, it is definitely worth upgrading.8. The one thing that you should do to check the safelist response is to track your ads. I useAdminder to track my ads but there are other programs that can be used. Don't overlook the tools that are included with the safelists. Some allow you to track the ads that you post.9. Organize Your Safelist E-mail. The most basic way to organize your e-mail is to create folders for similar things. Rather than letting it sit on the "In" folder where it can get buried, why not create a "To Do" folder and stick things you don't want to do immediately there.10. Use a GREAT subject line! You already know your target market is other people who are advertising - show them a way to increase the effectiveness of their advertising or automate it etc. and they WILL read your ad!The art of writing headlines is a special skill well worth the time and effort it takes to develop. There are many known statistics in direct marketing that bear repeating here:qFive times as many people read the headline as read the ad or letter.qChanges in headlines have produced documented increases in sales of 200%, 500% and, in one extreme case, 1,850% more sales!qIt's a good idea to write 15 or 20 headlines for yourletter or ad, and use the "leftover" headlines as part of the selling copy itself11. Need something to market via your safelists. What is the one thing that all safelist users need? Every safelist users need a subscribe or list email box. Thats the email address that receives 1000s of emails a day if you are posting to alot of safelists. I useListmail4u.com12. Increase your safelist responses by customizing your subject. If you use subject lines with member's name, the chances of them opening your email is far better. For example, the following subject line:"John, Join the Most Reponsive Safelist on the Market"...will get open more times than the same subject without the member's name. Many of the "better" safelists allow you to place the "Firstname" and the "Lastname" on your subject. If this feature is available, use it and your response rate will increase.13. If a Safelist or Safelist Submitter Service is offering A free trail or 10 day trail. Sign up. That's free advertising. Check outLeads Magic14. If a Safelist or Safelist Submitter Service is offering a trail for $1.00. Do it. You could possibly send thousands of ads for a buck!15. Paid or PRO safelist members usually get benefits like being able to post everyday to the entire list, not getting emailed to, or only getting emailed by a small fraction of all the members, or being emailed to by just the other paid members. Other benefits often include higher referral commissions, ad tracking, free FFA, HTML etc.16. One of the major reasons most safelist users give up on marketing with safelists is due to the fact that they don't have the tools to deal with the large volume of emails received. Again, if using Safelists is one of your marketing tools on the internet, then you NEED a LARGE mailbox to handle the volume of email received.17. When looking for a "paid email account", look for the following features: automatic email deletion, email filtering, Web Based Email, POP 3, and FREE affiliate programs.18. Look for email accounts with POP3 or Web Based Email Access. Web Based Email is an advanced and richly featured internet based email program that allows you to check and manage your email from ANYWHERE in the world.19. Keep your subject lines to your safelist ads concise and to the point. Anything longer than 50 characters may get chopped off and no one won't see it. Leave out all unnecessary words, spaces & punctuation. Eliminate words such as "a" "an" "the" and abbreviate where possible.20. Do not join a Safelist Submitter that does not have Auto Validate Capabilities. It would take hours and even days logging into your subscribe mail box and clicking each confirmation email for each safelist. Why do that when there are submitters that will do that for you with a click of a button.21. Repeat your email subject as the first line in the body of your email. Frequently safelist owners add advertisements to your email before your ad. As a result, sometimes the reader may not see your ad or may read the first ad that appears. So repeating your subject line at the beginning of your message makes it easier for the reader to find your ad.22. When you write your subject lines, use a subject that is in direct relation to the opportunity, service or product you are promoting. If you can not do that, then do not send out your ad through the safelist.23. If you use safelist submitters, advertise your submitter link at the bottom of your message. Use a simple 2 line ad similar to the following: My ads are sent automatically thanks to {submitter name} http://yoursubmitterURL.com This way, you can increase signups for your submitter affiliate program with very little effort.24. Are you still only using free safelists while knowing that paid safelists are more responsive and will allow you to mail to all member more frequently.25. Most of your sales will not be made directly from sending out safelist ads. You need a system to capture your visitors email address such as autoresponders or a signup form on your website.wwKiosk has autoresponders and will even giv you Templates for signup forms.26. Then you need to follow up with your subscribers, providing them USEFUL information over a period of time. Studies have shown that a perspective customer has to see your ad at least 7 times before they buy from you.27. Studies have shown that smaller safelist often out perform their larger counterparts. Don't ignore safelists, such as the MarketingWithSafelist Safelist, that has a smaller number of members. Use a variety of safelists - large and small.28. Want to really get responses from your safelist ads. Then send your ads out via safelist admin solo ads. These are the paid ads that go to all the contact email addresses of that particular safelist. These ads are relatively cheap but well worth the price. To get the best results, use admin solo ads from paid safelists such as the Guaranteed Results safelist or Hulklist.29. The real best way to make money with safelists is to OWN a safelist submitter. The value of owning a safelist submitter cannot be overlooked. First of all, with safelist submitter ownership, you instantly have your very own opt-in list to offer YOUR products and services that you are trying to sell.30. One mistake most people make is trying to sell directly with safelist ads. This is a big mistake. It would be a mistake to try to sell products with your safelist ads because the response would be very low. You may get a few sales here and there, but that's about it.31. Only join free safelists that also offer PRO membership. These safelists tend to be more responsive because of the Pro membership service attached to it.32. Many safelist owners offer free PRO Upgrades. If the safelist that you are interested in does not offer a free PRO Upgrade, offer to advertise his/her safelist in exchange for the PRO Upgrade. Most safelist owners will welcome the free advertising.33. Your ad copy has to grab attention from the first line. It has to push those emotional triggers. It has grab attention in the first few seconds because safelist users have "trigger fast delete fingers".34. Did you know that safelists that allow you to mail more than once a week are more responsive than ones that let you mail only once a week. Studies have shown that the more the safelist lets you mail, the more responsive the safelist. This seems like a logical conclusion, but how many of you sign up for safelists that only allow you mail once a week. No wonder you are not getting hits, subcribers or sales.35. Do not use Deceptive subject lines. These subject lines may get the reader to open the email, but once they find out what the email is deceptive, 99% of the people will delete it. Further, they will never sign up for that offer.36. If you have absolutely no experience in writing ads for your safelists, an easy way to set up your ad is to use the content on the first page of the product website you are trying to promote. Usually the first paragraph contains the main sales copy of your product, so you may want to take that into consideration.37. The brutal reality of advertising: An ad with a good headline and even mediocre copy will get you a response and generate sales. But with a poor headline, even the most brilliant copy will get you little or no response.38.
