The Only Two Things You Need to Build a Quality List for Under $20 a Month

Everyone tells you that you need to build a list to make money online. I couldn’t agree more. A list is not only a profit pumping machine but a traffic pumping machine for you.

Whenever I need instant traffic and sales, I just email my list. Ok, you’re sold on building a list but you’re still wondering a few things. What do you need to build a list and how can you do it at the lowest cost without sacrificing quality.

The other thing you’re probably wondering is how do you get people to agree to get email from you?

People have written whole courses on email marketing and list building. First, I’ll show you the two things you need in order to build a list and how much they might run you.

Later, I’m going to show you how to get people’s emails by using the simple method of invoking curiosity.

There are a few things you need in order to build your own list.

1. 1.) An autoresponder

2. 2.) A minisite to host your form

Actually, you could get away without a minisite but it’s not recommended since you will have much better results with a minisite.

If you already have a reliable autoresponder, then skip to the next yellow headline below.

An autoresponder is the best invention ever created for anyone to create a business which runs on autopilot. It’s your most important asset in your home business. If you’re serious about running a business and not just a hobby, I highly suggest your invest in a quality autoresponder right from the get go. A good one will set you back between $100-$200 a year. Some allow you to pay monthly from $17-$30 a month.

The autoresponder I’ve been using for years now is included with an all-in-one solution which includes hosting and many other things. You can check it out at this link. Although there are better autoresponders, this one is good enough for what most people need. I have no complaints about the customer service. In fact, you will not hear a bad thing about the owner of the business, Kaviraj Kodai.

The other thing you will need is a minisite. In order to have a minisite you will need a domain name, and hosting account. The hosting I recommend is the all-in-one package from Ultimate Marketing Center.

As far as what domain to use, you will need to brainstorm. Use a catchy domain name. Match it up with your list name. What’s your list name? Mine is Rebrand Profits Newsletter at http://www.rebrandprofits.com Now that’s interesting because people understand the word "profits" means that my site is probably about making money. They’ve seen my sites with the word "profits" in the domain so they acclimate it to making money.

What they don’t know is how the word "rebrand" goes with profits. It invokes their curiosity and they click on the link to see my site.

You need to create a brand name for your newsletter or list. I won’t go into much details about this because this lesson is meant to show you how to set up many minisites to build your list. After you come up with a name for your list and register a domain to match that name, you will start building your minisite.

The biggest trigger which will help you capture optins on your minisite is to invoke curiosity. Let me hammer that into your head.

Remember the title of this lesson? Here it is:

The title makes you wonder what those two things are doesn’t it?

People will take action just to satisfy their curiosity. Great copywriters have been using this technique for centuries. (Ok, maybe not centuries, but a LONG time)

You start off by invoking curiosity right in the headline of your minisite. Then you continue by writing little bullet points which invoke more curiosity. In fact, you can simply have a one paragraph minisite which captures optins for you because the paragraph invokes a lot of curiosity. It depends on if you hit the right curiosity trigger.

Headline is: " I Show You Exactly How I Signed up 168 Leads in 15 Days for a Free Viral Program That is Rocking the Internet Marketing World! "

I gave specific numbers to make my claims more credible. If I said I gained 100 leads in a couple weeks it wouldn’t entice as many people to read further.

Further down the page I use a technique which allows me to tune into the mindset of my prospect. Notice the following paragraph:

"You thought getting people to sign up for free programs was easy but now you're struggling to get anybody at all excited to join."

That’s exactly how most people feel. So I’m directly tuning into their minds and pulling their thoughts out for them to see. This makes them much more open to hear what I have to say, or in the case of this minisite, show.

I show them PROOF of my success using screenshots. Proof is a very powerful thing. You can say anything you want but proof will do all the talking for you.

I then end the minisite with a call to action. This is important. You would think that people would automatically fill out the form on their own but that’s not the case. They need to be told what to do.

Headline: " How to Email Hundreds of Thousands of People Monthly Without Being Accused of Spam "

The headline may seem hypey but that’s why I added the part "without being accused of spam"

People wonder, how can they do this and then read further on.

Watch again how I enter the mind of the prospect with the following paragraph.

" You've probably heard bad things about advertising with safelists. How they don't work and they're a waste of time. "

Notice the bullet points I included to invoke more curiosity.

• Do you want to know what is the one subject line that will make people open your emails almost every time?

• Do you know what are the best products to promote through safelists?

• Do you know a software that can verify you to all safelists with a click of a button?...And do so much more automatically?

How YOU can set up minisites like mine to get your own subscribers.

You don’t need to have a report like me to create a minisite. All you need is to provide your subscribers, good content. If you can’t write it yourself, then all you have to do is find a few articles from one of the article directories online or have someone ghostwrite it for you.

Once you have your content, just plug it into an autoresponder and then create your curiosity invoking minisite and watch ad your autoresponder fills up with leads.

Of course it takes much more than a simple name capturing device like a minisite to make money with a list but that’s another issue which I will have to teach you in another lesson.
